¡Buenos días chicas! ¿Cómo habéis pasado el fin de semana?

Yo he estado trabajando para vosotras en una nueva sección que he decidido titular “Cómo llevar…”

Uno de los problemas más comunes que encuentro entre mis clientes (y en general con todo el mundo) es la falta de ideas a la hora de combinar prendas básicas. Muchas personas me dicen que no tienen nada que ponerse, pero lo cierto es que cuando veo sus armarios el problema es que no saben cómo llevar esas prendas.

Por eso he decidido crear esta sección semanal en la que os iré dando ideas para poder sacar el máximo provecho de vuestro armario ¡¡y  que parezca que  es ilimitado!! 

Las claves: que la prenda combinable sea de un color liso y la elección de los complementos. ¡¡Ya sabéis como unos zapatos o un bolso pueden cambiar un look!!

Además puesto que las protagonistas sois vosotras y la idea es que los looks os sean inspiradores además de ponibles, os animo a que me sugiráis cualquier tipo de prenda que os gustaría ver en el blog e incluso enviarme fotos de ese vestido o pantalón que no tenéis ni idea de cómo llevar para que os pueda sugerir diversos estilismos. Good morning ladies! How has your weekend been?

I’ve been working for you in a new section that I’ve entitled “How to wear…”

One of the most common problems among my clients (and in general) is that they don’t know how to combine basic pieces. Many people assure me that they have nothing to wear but the real problem is that they don’t know how to wear their clothes.

That’s why I’ve decided to create this new weekly section in which I’ll show some ideas so you could make the most of your closet… and make it look endless!!! 

The keys:  the pieces must be plain coloured and the selection of accessories. You know how a pair of shoes or a bag can change a look!!

I want you to be the real stars of this section so I encourage you to suggest the clothes you would like to see in the blog. You can even send me the pictures of that dres or pair of trousers that you don’t’ have idea how to combine so I could give you stylism ideas!! My mail is patricia@toptenimage.com

Sunday inspiration: Stripes

 

Son un clásico que resiste cualquier tendencia y sin duda el paso del tiempo. Aunque hay gente que las teme (sobre todo porque las rayas horizontales aportan amplitud a nuestra figura) lo cierto es que bien combinadas TODO el mundo puede llevarlas…

Optar por rayas verticales y finas si sois “redonditas” y lo contrario si sois delgadas y queréis añadir algo de volumen a vuestra figura.

Opt for thin and vertical stripes if you’re full figured and the contrary if you’re thin and want to add some volume to your body.

How to dress for WCC (Part I)

Lo prometido es deuda  así que después de reiteradas peticiones sobre ello hoy os presento la primera parte de “Cómo vestir para BBC”. Al crear estas propuestas he tenido en cuenta los siguientes aspectos:

El evento:  En este post os presento opciones para bautizos, comuniones (aunque algunos de ellos se podrían llevar perfectamente para una boda civil de día). Veréis pocas lentejuelas y brillos puesto que hablamos de actos más sencillos y que se suelen celebrar de día ¡Las bodas merecen un capítulo especial!

Precios: Con la situación actual no esté el horno para bollos así que todas las opciones que os valen menos de 200€ (que creo es una cifra más que razonable)

Originalidad: ya que todas tenemos tendencia a vestir de las mismas marcas he procurado crear combinaciones diferentes y que no sean tan “clásicas”

Versatilidad: He procurado que todas y cada una de las prendas se puedan llevar por separado lo que convierte el gasto en una auténtica inversión.

A promise is a promise, so after several requests today  I finally present you the first part of “How to dress for WCC” (Weddings, Christenings and First Communions). When creating the looks I’ve bear in mind the following aspects:

The event: In this post I only show you looks for Christenings and First Communions (though some of them could be worn to civil weddings). You'll not see sequins or shine as these events tend to be more simple and usually celebrated during the day. Weddings deserve a special chapter!

Prices:  With the current situation we have to make the most of our money so all the looks cost less than 200 € (which I consider a very reasonable amount)

Originality: Due to the fact that most of us tend to dress with the same brands I’ve tried to create original combinations not so “classic”

Versatility: I've tried to chose items that also can work in separate looks so the expense becomes a real investment.
