Look of the day: New Mango jersey

Pues nada… Como ayer me fue imposible asistir “al evento del año” (ejem) estrené mi nuevo jersey de Mango… ¡y me quedé tan ancha! Jajajaja…

Well then… As I wasn’t able to assist to “the event of the year” I worn for the first time my new Mango jersey… and felt so happy for it!! LOL

Bag: I bought it in an italian outlet but can't remember the name!!

Grey long skirt

De vez en cuando me gusta experimentar combinando  colores inusuales,  prendas de diferentes estilos o con accesorios llamativos. Por eso cuando ayer escogí ponerme esta falda decidí probar como quedaría con  una chaqueta deportiva con capucha, una camiseta básica y unos zapatos abotinados de vestir…

Precisamente una de las cosas que más me gusta de escribir un blog  de moda es que te anima a probar cosas que quizás nunca habrías probado de otra manera.

From time to time I like to try new things like the combination of unusual colors, the mix of different styles or wearing a statement accessory. That’s why when I yesterday chose to wore this skirt I decided to combined it with a hoodie, a basic t-shirt and bootie shoes …

As a matter of fact one of the things I like most from writing a fashion blog is that I feel the need to try new matches that I wouldn’t probably try under other circumstances.

Fashion tip: ¡¡Las faldas largas estilizan mucho la figura así que usa y abusa de ellas!! Ten la precaución de marca bien la cintura ya sea con un cinturón, una chaqueta entallada, una blusa anudada... 

Fashion tip: Long skirts elongate your shape so use and abuse it!! Just be careful and make your waist visible with a belt, a well-cut jacket, a knotted blouse... 

TOUS new collection

Vale lo confieso: el osito de TOUS nunca ha sido uno de mis emblemas favoritos. De hecho acabé aburriéndolo de verlo en todas partes... Por eso cuando durante la producción de Thread descubrí la nueva colección de la firma, me quedé maravillada. Ya os enseñé algunas piezas en las fotos que subí pero lo cierto es que no se pueden apreciar ni los detalles ni los magníficos diseños como en estas fotos que os muestro a continuación.

Es evidente que la marca ha querido modernizarse sin perder sus raíces y lo ha conseguido con una colección exquisita y original ¡¡por la que cualquier fashionista moriría!!

Ok I admit it: the TOUS teddy bear has never been one of my favourite logos. In fact I was a little bored of seeing it everywhere… That is why when I discover the new collection during the Thread production I was astonished. I already showed you some pieces in that post but you couldn't appreciate the  details and magnificent designs as in the ones I’m showing you now.

It’s clear that the brand wants to become modern without loosing its roots and I think they’ve reached it with an exquisite and original collection that  every fashionista would die for!!

Thread production (part I): The making off

Finalmente ayer asistí a la producción de Thread que se organizó junto con las bloggers y patrocinadores. Lo cierto es que fue un día inolvidable lleno de risas, sorpresas, buen rollo, algo de cansancio ¡¡ y sobre todo mucha marcha!! Me encantó conocer al equipo de Fashion Media Network (en especial a la dulce Lila y la estilosa Anabel de 24fab.com), a los patrocinadores (¡gracias Mireia de Tous, Miguel Angel de Givenchy, Mireia de Medwinds, Carlota de Misako  y Carolina de Mango) y a las bloggers  Rebeca (Starzz in their eyes), Eva (de Confusión en Madrid), Beatriz (de Necklace of pearls) y Marta  (de Miss Butterflyme)

Especial ilusión me hizo poner cara a compañeras de Barcelona Anna (Addict Smile), Judit (Be Cool), Simone (Secrets y Closets) y Annie (de La habitación de las pequeñas cosas).

El día empezó con un cierto retraso en las producciones de moda pero eso nos dio tiempo para conocernos, curiosear los looks escogidos,  desayunar (¡qué bueno estaba todo!) y hacer muuuchas fotos del making off.

Por la tarde, antes de llegar a la fiesta que organizaron en The Jazz Room, Anna y yo nos pasamos por la Open Night que Movistar organizó junto con H&M. ¡Un auténtico lujo poder comprar si apenas gente, con todo el personal a tu disposición y canapés a gogo!  ¡Y si chicas las dos compramos! ;-)

La noche acabó con el rodaje del video en pleno concierto ¡y con las bloggers subidas al escenario bailando como locas! Jajajajaja…

Yesterday I finally went to the Thread fashion production organised with the bloggers and sponsors. It really was an unforgettable day full of laughs, surprises, an excellent atmosphere, a bit tiredness and loads of rhythm!!  It was a pleasure to met the staff of Fashion Media Network (especially the sweet Lila and the stylish Anabel from 24fab.com), the sponsors (thanks Mireia from Tous, Miguel Angel from Givenchy, Mireia from Medwinds, Carlota from Misako and Carolina from Mango) and the bloggers Rebeca (Starzz in their eyes), Eva (from Confusión en Madrid ), Beatriz (from Necklace of pearls) and Marta (de Miss Butterflyme)

I was thrilled to met some of my colleagues from Barcelona like Anna (Addict Smile), Judit (Be Cool), Simone (Secrets y Closets) and Annie (from La Habitación de las pequeñas cosas).

The day began with a bit of delay but we make the most of it by knowing each other, wandering around to discover the looks, having breakfast (it was delicious!) and taking a lot of pictures of the making off.

At the evening, before arriving to the party that took place in The Jazz Room, Anna and I went to the Movistar and H&M Open Night. It was a pleasure to buy with all the staff at your disposal and loads of canapes only for us!! And yes we both bought  something!! ;-)

The night ended with the recording of a video while all the bloggers were dancing like fools on the stage!!! LOL
