¿Por qué no utilizar el azul marino como color básico de fondo de armario en lugar del negro? Puede ser una opción excelente y combinado con tonos claros y saturados (como el abrigo blanco de Zara que no me canso de llevar) puede quedar ideal. Las cadenas doradas le añaden el toque de glamour que ya sabéis que  adoro…

PS: Por cierto este es el look que he elegido pra asitir a los desfiles de la Barcelona Bridal Week (aunque al final me he recogido el pelo). ¡¡Mañana más!!

Why not use deep blue instead of black as basic color for our wardrobe?? It can be an excellent option and paired with light and saturated tones (like the white Zara I can’t stop wearing) could look great. The golden chains add the glamour touch you all know I die for…

Look of the day: Running my errands

 

Imagino que  a vosotr@s también os pasa que cuando tenéis que salir de viaje sentís un cierto nerviosismo y sobre todo la sensación de que “algo se me olvida”. Por eso soy una obsesionada de las listas: sé que cuando he escrito algo ya no se  me olvida y los viajes o las celebraciones son el momento ideal para echar mano de ellas.

Para el día de hoy (en el que aún tengo que hacer muchos recados) he optado por unas bailarinas, tejanos capri, un bolso grande... ¡y mucha energía!

¡¡Mañana  más…desde Londres!!

When I have to travel, the days  before de D-day I feel a certain “agitation” and constantly got the feeling that “I’m missing something”.  Does this also happen to you? That’s why I’m kind of a “to-do list obsessed” : once you have written something down it's very difficult to forget it. And this occasions are the best to use them.

As I still have got many errands to run, I’ve chosen a very comfy yet chic outfit: ballerinas, cropped  jeans, a big bag… and lots of energy!!

Soft jacket

Encontré esta chaqueta de H&M en las rebajas del invierno pasado por 10€. Me encanta por su tacto, su corte y su toque romántico. Este tipo de prendas aportan calidez y dulzura a las personas que las llevan.

Aquí me la veis con uno de las combinaciones más universales y al mismo tiempo combinables que existen: una camiseta blanca con unos tejanos. El look es ideal para pasear una tarde de domingo, ir al cine o leer un libro mientras tomas un café o un té. Aunque aquí la llevo en el calle este tipo de prendas también son ideales para llevar por casa con un pantalón suave y una camiseta de algodón.

¿A vosotras os gustan este tipo de prendas válidas tanto para dentro como fuera de casa?

I found this soft jacket last winter in the H&M sales for 10€. I love it for its feel, cut and romantic touch. 

Here I’m wearing it with the most universal and wearable combinations of all: the white t-shirt paired with jeans. This look is ideal for a Sunday walk, to go to the cinema or read a book while having a coffe or a tea. Although I’m wearing outside you can also wear this kind of clothes to stay at home, with soft pants and a cotton t-shirt.

My last summer look?

El color block es un tendencia que me apasiona y que (confieso) me cuesta dejar de lado. Pero con estas temperaturas más propias del verano que del otoño…¿por qué no seguir vistiéndonos con color? Ya tendremos tiempo de ponernos tonos más otoñales/invernales.

Inspirada por una de las fotografías de mi post de ayer (la de la chica sentada con un vestido azul años 50, muy estilo azafata de la PANAM) decidí volver a ponerme mis pantalones azul eléctrico con una camiseta a rayas y un blazer negro de la nueva temporada de Stradivarius. El moño aporta un toque de clase a un look sencillo, cómodo, ponible y que encuentro ideal para el entretiempo.

Chicas ¿a vosotras os cuesta dejar los tonos del verano?

I have to admit that color block is a trend that I find particularly difficult to left behind, maybe because I love it. But with these temperatures more close to summer than autumn…why not dressing with colour? We’ll have time enough to wear more autumnal/winter tones.   

Inspired by one of the pictures I posted yesterday (the sitting girl in the blue 50’s dress, very PANAM stewardess style) I decide to wear again my electric blue jeans, with a stripped t-shirt and a black blazer of the Stradivarius new collection. The updo adds a touch of class to a very simple yet comfortable and wearable outfit that I found perfect for the transition.
