Barça-Benfica football match

No soy una loca del fútbol la verdad pero sí que se apreciar y disfrutar de un buen partido. Por eso cuando ayer me invitaron a ver el partido de la Champions League del Barça – Benfica con entrada a la zona VIP del Camp Nou… ¡no pude negarme!

La etiqueta exigía “casual chic” y la noche se presentaba gélida… ¿Qué hice? Opté por unos tejanos, mi nueva blusa de Primark London bajo una chaqueta de punto de Mango que parece una manta siberiana y mis botas moteras ¡con calcetines de lana! La bufanda, la gorra y los guantes fueron los accesorios ideales.

El ambiente fue impresionante y pudimos disfrutar de la zona de catering exclusiva y una visión inmejorable del campo (¡justo detrás de donde se sientan los jugadores reserva!). ¡Una experiencia inolvidable!

PD: Finalmente decidí cambiar mi Marc Jacobs por otro mucho más cómodo y práctico de Misako ¡que ya habéis visto mucho por le blog!

To be honest, I’m not crazy about football. However I appreciate and know how to enjoy a good match. That’s why when I was asked to attend yesterday’s Barça-Benfica Champions League match with seats in the VIP area of the Camp Nou… I couldn’t say no!

The dress code said “smart casual” but the night was icy. What to do? I opted for a pair of jeans, my new Primark blouse worn under a super warm Mango cardigan and my biker boots … worn with wool socks! The scarf and the gloves were the ideal accessories.

The atmosphere was amazing and we could enjoy an exclusive catering area and a perfect vision of the pitch (we were just behind where the reserve players sit during the game!) An unforgettable experience!!

PS: I finally decide to change my Marc Jacobs for a more comfy and practical bag that you’ve seen a lot on the blog!

Sunday celebration

Ayer tuvimos otra celebración familiar (¡es lo que pasa cuando las familias crecen!) y resultó un final ideal para un fin de semana tranquilo y agradable.

Yesterday we had another familiar celebration (that's what it happens when families grow up!!) and it happened to be a perfect ending for a quite and super nice weekend.

Lady with a twist

Si chicas, el otoño ya está aquí. Atrás quedó el verano, la playa, las vacaciones, el calor... Bueno esto último no es verdad porque al menos aquí en Barcelona está haciendo todavía tiempo de verano. (Por suerte se avecinan cambios -¡si tanto calor también cansa!-).

Con este tiempo maravilloso hemos celebrado este largo fin de semana las Fiestas de la Mercè en la ciudad condal que se ha llenado de actividades al aire libre como la "Feria del libro antiguo y de ocasión" (donde compré un precioso libro de mesa de Audrey Hepburn)o el mercadillo "Lost and Found" (donde encontré una blusa de seda de Roberto Cavalli ¡¡¡¡por 10€!!!!).

Y este es el look que llevé para pasear entre libros: una blusa con lazada, una falda cream y un chaleco tejanos para restarle seriedad. Mis zapatos de cenicienta y mi amado Marc Jacobs le aportan el toque chic.

Yes ladies autumn is here. We’ve left behind the summer, the beach, the holiday, the heat… Well this is not really true ‘cause here in Barcelona the weather is still VERY warm (fortunately changes are expected this week!!).

With this wonderful weather and during a long weekend we have celebrated “Las fiestas de la Merçè” (which is a party held in honour of the city's patron, La Marçè). Barcelona has been full of outdoors activities like the “Antique book fair” (where I bought a beautiful Audrey Hepburn’s coffe table book) or the local market “Lost and Found” (where I found a Roberto Cavalli’s silk blouse for only 10€!!!!!)

And this is the look I wore to wandering among books: a pussy bow blouse, a cream skirt and a denim vest (to look less like a secretary!!) My Cinderella shoes and my beloved Marc Jacobs were the chic touch.

Desde el primer momento en que me probé esta camiseta me gustó tanto y me sentí tan cómoda que me la llevé en cuatro colores diferentes: naranja neón (que os mostré aquí), lavanda (en este post), rosa y amarillo flúor (aún por estrenar). Total por 4 € que valen ¿acaso no merece la pena tener cada una de un color?

El tono lavanda combinado con mis nuevos tejanos (que ya os enseñé aquí) y botines de Blanco y con complementos en tostado aporta un plus de serenidad y dulzura que me encanta.

The first moment I tried on this t-shirt I felt so comfy and liked it so much that I decided to buy the same in four different colors: orange neon (shown here), lavender (in this post), pink and neon yellow (still waiting tin the closet!!). They just cost me 4€ each one so I think it’s really worth it have it in different shades, isn’t it?

The lavender one combined with my new jeans (already shown here) and ankle boots from Blanco and accessorized with brown shades make the whole look sweet and calm.
