Mad Men for Banana Republic collection (again) (+ winner of the Foot Petals)

Sin palabras. Así es como me quedé al ver la segunda colección  de Banana Republic para Mad Men.

Tal fue el éxito de la pasada colección que la marca decidió volver a crear una segunda colección para esta P/V. Vestidos lápiz, cigarrette pants y cardigans son la prendas predominantes en la colección femenina. Para él,  polos estilo navy y pantalones en tonos claros al más puro estilo Don Draper.

El lanzamiento fue el pasado mes de marzo pero aun se pueden conseguir la piezas a través de su web (aunque me temo que sólo para EEUU).

Por favor ¡quiero un pieza de cada! Jajajajaja…

Without words. That’s how I felt after seeing the new Mad Men collection for Banana Republic.

The previous collection had such a huge success that the fashion brand decided to create a new one for this S/S season. Pencil dresses, cigarrette pants and cardigans and the main pieces of the feminine collection. For him, navy polos and pants in light shades, very à la Don Draper. 

The launch took place last March but you can still buy these pieces in their website (unfortunately only available  in the USA)

For me, one piece of each please!! LOL

Mad Men Collection by Banana Republic

Para todas aquellas que estéis locas por Mad Men  tanto como yo estaréis encantadas de saber que Banana Republic ha lanzado una colección inspirada en los personajes de la galardonada serie.

Janie Bryant, la diseñadora de vestuario, ha creado una colección cápsula en la que predominan las faldas tubo, los vestidos retro y las chaquetas de punto casi idénticos a los que llevan Betty Draper y Joan Holloway. La colección también incluye prendas de hombre y se puede adquirir aquí

For all of those of that are mad about Mad Men like me, you’ll be glad to hear that Banana Republic  has launched a collection inspired in the characters of the award winning serie.

Janie Bryant, the wardrobe designer, has created a capsule collection full of pencil skirts, retro dresses and cardigans practically identical to the ones who wear Betty Draper and Joan Holloway. The collection also includes clothes for men and it can be found here.

Mad about Mad Men

Las (y los) amantes de Mad Men estamos de enhorabuena porque ya ha salido a  la venta el pack la cuarta temporada.

Adoro esta serie de culto y todo lo relacionado con ella: su argumento , la construcción de los personajes, los actores que los encarnan, la ambientación, la época…¡y como no su vestuario!. La diseñadora  Janie Bryant (que ya se llevó un Emmy al mejor vestuario por Deadwood) junto con el perfeccionista Matthew Weiner (creador de la serie) han conseguido, para mi gusto,  una serie visual y estéticamente perfecta. Nada está fuera de lugar; nada sobra ni nada falta.

All Mad Men lovers are in luck because the fourth season DVD pack is now on the market.  

I simply adore this cult series and everything related to it: the plot, the characters, the actors who play them, the art design, the period where it takes place…and of course the wardrobe! The fashion designer  Janie Bryant (who was already awarded with an Emmy for Outstanding Costumes in Deadwood) along with the perfectionist Matthew Weiner (the creator) have achieve, from my point of view, a series which is visually an aesthetically perfect. Nothing is out of place; nothing is left over, nothing is missed.
