¡Por fin hoy os
presento el primer post de mi viaje a Londres! Lo cierto es que he hecho tanta
fotos que seleccionarlas me ha resultado muy difícil (y la verdad tampoco
quiero hacer posts larguísimos sino se hace pesado!!)
Llegué a Victoria
Station sobre las 13:00 y mi hermana me esperaba allí. ¡¡Que alegría verla
después de tantos meses!! Fuimos a casa a “descargar”, comer algo… ¡y de paseo!.
Me moría por ver las luces de Navidad. Dimos un pequeño paseo por su barrio (West
Kensington) y nos dirigimos al centro. De
verdad que si no habéis estado nunca en Londres por Navidad merece la pena
chicas. ¡Todo estaba precioso y los escaparates son auténticas obras de arte!.
Como veis en las
fotos llevaba un look muy sencillo: tejanos, botas, jersey de lana y super
abrigo (¡¡porque el frío sí que era intenso!!). Para entrar en calor decidimos
acabar el paseo en La Durée de Covent Garden (en la parte de arriba tiene un salón de té estilo Maria Antonieta que es una monada). Y no, no me gustan los macarons pero sus tés y el chocolate a
la taza ¡¡son realmente exquisitos!!

PD: Siento la
cara en algunas fotos pero me había levantado a las 6:00 de la mañana y estaba
un poco cansada… ;-)
Good morning ladies!!
Today I finally publish my first post about London!! To be honest I’ve taken
so many pictures that it has been difficult for me to select just a few for the
blog (I don’t’ want the posts to be extremely long!!)
I arrived at Victoria Station at 13:00 pm and my sissy (I’ve discovered this
new word!!) was waiting there for me. It was great to see her after so many
months!! We went home to leave my luggage, ate something… and voilà! out for a walk. I was dying to see the Christmas lights. We wandered a little around my sister’s
neighborhood (West Kensington) and then we headed towards the city center. Ladies, if you’ve
never been in London for Christmas, you must. Everything
looks beautiful and the window shops are real works of art!!
As you can see in the pictures my look was very simple: jeans, biker
boots, wool sweater and a super coat (‘cause the cold was really intense!!). To
warn up a little we decide to finish our walk at La Durée in Covent Garden (they've got a super cozy Marie Antoinette's style tea room upstairs!). And
no I don’t like “macarons” but their teas and “chocolat” are exquisite!!

PS: Sorry for my face ladies but I woke up at 6:00 in the morning and felt
really exhausted… ;-)
