Por más que visito blogs de moda lo cierto es que me cuesta ver looks pantalones anchos. La verdad es que encuentro este tipo de pantalones muy cómodos y elegantes. Si además con de cintura alta entonces tienen la virtud de alargar ópticamente las piernas y puesto que se deben llevar con taconazo (a menos que tengamos la altura de una modelo) el resultado es genial.

Si el corte es recto (como el que llevo yo) también nos pueden disimular la delicada zona del culete/cartucheras… ¿qué más se puede pedir?

¿A vosotras os gustan o preferís los pantalones ajustados?

I visit a lot of fashion blogs and I find it difficult to find looks with wide pants. In my opinion these kind of pants are very comfy and elegant. If they’re high-waist they’ve got the virtue of visually elongate our legs and because they must be worn with high heels (unless we’ve got the height of a model) the result is spectacular.

If the cut is straight (like the one I'm wearing), they can also hide the tricky bottom/hips area… what else can one ask for?

How about you ladies? Do you like them or do you prefer skinny pants??

Black and dark blue: do you dare?

Hay mucha gente que opina que ciertas combinaciones de colores son difíciles de llevar. Por ejemplo el negro y el marrón o el azul marino combinado con negro. Pero yo creo que con un poco de gracia y estilo CASI todos los colores son combinables…

Hace un tiempo no me hubiera atrevido con una combinación como la que os muestro en las fotos, pero es evidente que no queda tan mal ¿no?

¿Vosotras os atrevéis con este tipo de combinaciones?

Many people consider that some color combinations are difficult to wear. For instance black and brown or dark blue and black. But I do believe that with some style and sense of fashion ALMOST every colour combination is wearable…

Some time ago I wouldn’t have dare to dress with the combination I’m showing you today, but it is obvious that it works. Don’t you think so?

Under my umbrella

Si hacer fotos para el blog en condiciones normales ya es un show de por sí (la gente que te mira con cara de “Qué hace esta?”, otros se paran a observar…) ¡imaginaos con lluvia a cántaros de por medio!

-“¡Aprovechemos ahora que no llueve!”

- “¿Estás segura? ¿Y si se moja la cámara?

- “No te preocupes, ponte debajo del tejado y yo me quedo fuera con el paraguas…”

- “¡¡¡El paraguas, corre que se vuela…!!!”

Menudo show...! ;-)

Y sí, al ver las fotos sin la gabardina me he dado cuenta de que el paraguas se da de tortas con el estampado del vestido… En fin ¡que un mal día lo tiene cualquiera! Jajajajajajaja…

If taking pictures for the blog is quite odd in normal conditions (people stare at you like if they were thinking “What is she doing?”, they stop while passing by…), could you imagine doing it when it’s raining cats and dogs??

-“Come on let’s go now, it’s not raining!”

-“Are you sure? What if the camera gets wet??”

-“Don’t worry, stay under the roof and I’ll stay outside under my umbrella…”

-“The umbrella is flying away!! Run!!”

What a mess...! ;-)

And yes, now that I see the pictures without the trench I’ve realized that the print of the dress goes along reaaaally bad with the umbrella… Well everybody can have a bad day!!! LOL

Look of the day: A touch of mustard please!

Si me seguís habitualmente, imagino que ya sabréis como me gusta jugar con los colores y probar combinaciones que no sean tan “habituales”…

Sin duda el mostaza es uno de los colores de O/I pero a mi me gusta introducir los tonos de temporada en pequeñas dosis como en accesorios o camisetas. Por eso cuando vi este bolso color mostaza en Bershka no pude resistirme a la tentación de llevármelo a casa. Me encanta su textura, forma y tamaño. Los acabos en dorado le aportan el extra de “lujo chic” que me chifla...

Decidí combinarlo con una blusa y una falda en tono morado intenso (aunque en las fotos se vea muy azul os prometo que es morado!!) que me gustan mucho por su aire un tanto setentero. Sandalias de taconazo y accesorios en dorado completan este look de lo más otoñal.

If you are regular to my blog, you’ll probably know how much I like to play with colours and try not so “usual” combinations…

Without any doubt mustard is one of the A/W colours but I like to introduce trendy colours is small doses such as with accessories o rt-shirts. That is why when I saw this mustard bag in Bershka I couldn’t resist the temptation to bring it home with me: I love its texture, shape and size. The golden finishing add that touch of “luxe chic” that drives me crazy…

I decided to combine it with a blouse and a skirt in intense purple with a certain 70’s flair (even if it looks electric blue I promise you that is purple!!). Super high heels and golden accessories complete this autumnal look.

Aunque en las tiendas ya encontremos desde hace tiempo las colecciones de la nueva temporada, lo cierto es que las temperaturas no invitan mucho a vestirse de otoño (¡al menos en Barcelona!). Personalmente me cuesta hacer la transición, sobre todo porque tardo MUCHO en ponerme ALGO morena. ¡¡¡ Y no quiero taparme ya!!! Jajajajajaja

Por eso ayer decidí optar por esta combinación tan colorida y veraniega, que me recuerda un poco a un sorbete de limón… ;-) Lo “clásico” hubiera sido combinar el amarillo con el negro pero opté por una camiseta gris y un bolso violeta que creo le da un aire más original y divertido. ¿Qué os parece?

Even though shops are already filled with the collections of the new season, the weather does not invite us to dress "autumnal" (at least in Barcelona!!). I personally find it hard to make this transition, specially because it takes me LONG time to SLIGHTY get tanned. So I still don't want to cover up!!! LOL

That is why yesterday I opted for this colourful and summery combination, that reminds me to a lemon sherbet...;-) The "classic" choice would have been yellow&black but I chose instead a grey basic t-shirt and a violet bag that I think jazzs up the oufit. What do you think?
