Soft jacket

I found this soft jacket last winter in the H&M sales for 10€. I love it for its feel, cut and romantic touch.

Here I’m wearing it with the most universal and wearable combinations of all: the white t-shirt paired with jeans. This look is ideal for a Sunday walk, to go to the cinema or read a book while having a coffe or a tea. Although I’m wearing outside you can also wear this kind of clothes to stay at home, with soft pants and a cotton t-shirt.

Do you like these kind of clothes that you can wear either inside and outside home??

Black trousers with denim blouse

Most of you must know that straight black trousers with a classic cut is a basic piece in every women wardrobe. Many people think about “boring” or “old fashioned” when they hear the word “classic”. But the truth is that it doesn’t mean so. In image consultancy  when we talk about classic clothes we mean the ones that last through the years because their cut, color, material and style make them still look fashionable.

There are thousand ways to update a classic piece like the one I’m showing you today (for instance a white t-shirt with a denim jacket). Or a denim blouse with a biker jacket like the one I’m wearing.

I decide to wear this brooch instead of a necklace. The burgundy bag, lips with the same tone and cuffs wearing outside the biker sleeves add the chic touch. What do you think?

How do you update your classic clothes?

Another stylish way to wear your handbag

Iconic film: Barefoot in the park (1967)

¡y mucho!

¡Feliz lunes chicas!

This week I suggest you a delicious comedy starred by Jane Fonda and Robert Redford: Barefoot in the park (1967).

Directed by Gene Sacks and based in the play written by Neil Simons in 1963, it tells the story of Corie and Paul Bratter a newlywed couple.  Corie is a passionate woman crazy love with her husband and live. Paul instead is a very quiet, serious and sensible man a bit obsessed with his job in a law firm. She tries harder to make a love nest of their tiny apartment in Greenwich Village but Paul seems to be more interested in his job. Corie’s mother -Ethel- tries to convince her that living with someone is difficult and requires a lot of patience. But it seems that Corie doesn’t think the same…

The wardrobe design was once more in charge of the marvellous Edith Head who used trapeze lines, mini dresses and intense colours to dress the main star.

A super funny comedy, the kind that will make you laugh…and a lot!

Happy Monday girls!

Just married

After six days and nights of non-stop love...she still can't let him go!!

Trying to capture Paul's attention with a kind of bellydance...

But in the end they realised that they can't live without each other...

Fashion Circuit 2.0: My personal experience

¡Feliz domingo chicas!

When I told you last Thursday that I will assist to the Fashion Circuit 2.0 event I was really excited. After reading the info posted in its Facebook profile and listening to other bloggers talking about it, the event sounded promising… But it couldn’t have been more deceiving…

Yes it’s true that the night was not ideal (it was raining cats and dogs) but this is not an excuse of what it was about to come. We arrive on time and had to wait for more than one hour in a room that was too big for the people that were there, with the music so loud that is was difficult to listen, without anybody telling us when the show was supposed to begin and without offering us something to drink to make the wait more bearable.

The show began past 10 pm, without a speaker that presented what we were about to see (only a voice in off that welcome us to the event). The catwalk consisted in four models wearing fantasy hair styles and four looks (four!) from the supposed promising designer that none had the courtesy to introduce. (To the attendants, anybody know his name?)

At 11:00 pm everybody rushed to the catering area has we all were starving. And although the catering quality was excellent, the quantity and the variety wasn’t so good.

The best part of the night was to finally met the sweet Sarah (Poppy Jota), Dafne (Bcn Coolhunter) and Eli (Vistete que vienen curvas). A pleasure ladies! And also to met old networking partners. Oh, and the singer Nika Mills who performed exceptionally!

Generally speaking I would say that the event was deceiving, with organisational mistakes and a lack of attention to details. But if the organisers take note of the constructive critics and work hard to improve the event, it could become a very interesting platform for the promotion of young talented designers.

Happy Sunday ladies!
