¡Buenos días chicas!  ¿Qué tal ha ido el finde? ¡El mío pasado por agua! Buf...

Empezamos la semana con un look trotero ideal para estar todo el día sin parar (¡cosa que suele pasar los primeros días tras la vuelta de vacaciones!). El look lo creée a partir de mi nueva camiseta de Asos de la que me enamoré a primera vista en cuanto la ví. Aunque es un pelín grande para mis gusto, le resultado final me encanta.

We start the week with an ideal on-the-go look to run your errands non-stop (which is something quite usual after coming back from holidays!!). I created the whole look choosing my new Asos t-shirt (it was a crush from the first minute I saw it!!). Even if it's a little too big for my taste, I love the final result.

¡Buenos días chicas!

Antes de nada os debo una ENORME disculpa por haber desaparecido del blog sin decir nada. Empecé mis vacaciones la semana pasada y al llegar a destino resulta que no sólo no tenía internet sino que mi ordenador decidió también "irse de vacaciones"…¡y hasta hoy no he podido solucionarlo! Lo siento de veras…

Dicho lo cual, hoy me gustaría hablaros de una nueva marca de ropa que he descubierto hace poco y me ha robado el corazón: OXYGENE Fashion.

OXYGENE Fashion es una marca de origen libanés que ha desembarcado hace poco en España (de momento la única tienda abierta está en Barcelona). Sus diseños son jóvenes, frescos y a la última; el colorido que utilizan es impresionante y sus modelos se renuevan constantemente en las tiendas. En un panorama fashion dominado por las grandes cadenas como Inditex, H&M y Mango para mí es importante encontrar nuevas marcas que te permitan salir un poco de lo habitual y no ir vestida como todo el mundo.

Confieso que arrasé en la tienda y este vestido que os enseño es una de las muchas prendas que me llevé y que por supuesto iréis viendo poco a poco por aquí… ;-)

Good morning ladies!!

First of all I would like to APOLOGIZE for disappearing from the blog without saying a word. The truth is that I started my holiday last week and when I arrived to my destiny I found out that not only I didn’t have internet but also that my computer had decided to ”go on holiday” too… and I wasn’t able to solve it until today… I’m really sorry!!

That said, today I would like to talk you about a new fashion brand that I’ve recently discovered and has stolen my heart: OXYGENE Fashion

OXYGENE Fashion is a Lebanese brand that has landed in Spain a few months ago (currently there’s only one boutique opened in Barcelona). Their designs are young, fresh and trendy, the color amazing and the collections are constantly renewed in their boutiques. In the fashion arena, where brands like Inditex, H&M and Mango control the high-street fashion for me is important to find new and fresh labels (I don’t like beign dressed like the rest of the world!!).

I must confess that when I first visited the boutique, I bought LOTS of beautiful garments that you’ll see on the blog… ;-) The dress I’m showing you today is one of them!!

A visit to the Museum

La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la exposición "Japonismo" del Caixa Forum Barcelona. ¡Si viajáis a Barcelona y os gusta el arte japonés no os la podéis perder porque vale mucho la pena!.

Para la ocasión escogí una camiseta que me compré en la rebajas de Promod y mi falda favorita de H&M.

Por cierto ¿habéis entrado en Promod para las rebajas? Porque yo aluciné con la cantidad de cosas monas que tienen… ¡¡Pronto las veréis en el blog!! ;-)

Last week I had the chance to attend an exhibition held in Caixa Forum Barcelona under the name of Japonismo. If you’re travelling to Barcelona and you like Japanese art you can’t miss it ‘cause its really worth it!!

For that evening I chose a t-shirt that I bought in Promod sales and my favourite H&M skirt.

BTW, have your visited Promod during these sales? I entered a couple of weeks ago and found lots of beautiful clothes… You’ll see them soon the blog!! ;-)

I hope not to look repetitive but I can't stand it!! Another outfit with stripes, this time combined with a midi skirt and the super useful denim jacket that I love for this time of the year... Jesus Peiro fashion show (Barcelona Bridal Week)

El pasado miércoles tuve el placer de poder asistir al desfile de Jesús Peiró para la Barcelona Bridal Week. La verdad es que asistir a un evento de este tipo es siempre un placer en especial si el diseñador celebra su 25 aniversario...

La colección 2014 (llamada "Costuras") presentó una novia muy elegante y clásica, inspirada en el savoir faire de los modistos de los años 50, cuando las colecciones se presentaban en desfiles exclusivos y privados a las clientas y la elaboración de los mismos se hacía de forma totalmente artesanal.

Tejidos como la gasa, el tul o la organza crean vestidos ligeros con toques románticos y siluetas suaves y fluidas que crean un moviento precioso al caminar. Por el contrario los tejidos más rígidos como el satin duchesse o el mikado tafeta conforman unos diseños algo más rígidos y voluminosos que esculpen la silueta con una elegancia muy depurada.  

Los toques de los lazos negros en toda la colección fueron el contrapunto perfecto y un guiño a la costura y al trabajo artesano que se realiza en su talleres.

¡Una colección exquisita y que enamora!

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure to attend the Jesús Peiró fashion show in Barcelona Bridal Week.  To be honest, is always a pleasure to attend these kind of events particularly when the designer is celebrating his 25th anniversary... 

The 2014 collection (entitled "Costuras" -literally "Seams") presented an elegant and classic bride inspired in the "savoir-faire" of the 50's designers, when the collections were presented in private and exclusive shows and the ellaboration was 100% handcrafted. 

Fabrics such as chiffon, tulle or organza create light dresses with romantic touches and soft silouhettes whose mouvement is beautiful when walking. On the contrary more rigid fabrics such as satin suchesse or mikado are used for more rigid and voluminous designs which sculpt the body with a very refined elegance.  

The black blows details are the perfect counterpoint and a nod towards the handcrafted work the brand realises in its Atelier.

An exquisite collection that will make you fall in love!!

Para la ocasión opté por un look muy lady inspirado en la pasarela de Dior gracias a esta falda de Asos que fue amor a primera vista (¡no en vano está agotada!). ¿Qué os parece?

For the occasion I decide to wear a lady look inspired in the Dior catwalk thanks to this Asos skirt that was love at first sight (and already sold out!). What do you think?
