Sexy in sequins

Lo prometido es deuda y tal y como os dije en este post os debía imágenes del conjunto que escogí para celebrar el final de año... ¡¡Así que ahí van!!

Las fotos las hicimos el sábado por la noche (con 4 grados y un viento infernal) y os puedo asegurar que desde que empecé este blog no había pasado tanto frío haciéndome fotos. ¡¡Si me escapo de coger un gripazo será un milagro!!

We took them last Saturday night (with 4ºC and a damned wind) and I assure you that I've never felt that frozen since I started the blog. If I don't catch a flu that wil be a miracle!!

The time for a change has come...

Si sois seguidoras habituales de mi blog, seguro que habéis notado que este mes mis posts han sido un tanto irregulares. Lo cierto es que ha sido un enero complicadísimo a muchos niveles y necesitaba tiempo para pensar y reflexionar sobre el rumbo que quiero que tome mi vida.

La semana pasada perdí mi trabajo y aunque era algo que ya veía venir, el momento de la verdad es siempre difícil… En los tiempos que corren en nuestro país, pienso que existen pocas oportunidades laborales que puedan encajar con lo que busco por lo que después de mucho pensar he decidido irme una temporada a Londres con mi hermana.

Para seros sincera estoy asustada, bastante la verdad… pero si lo pienso fríamente creo que quedarme aquí seria una decisión aún peor.  Londres es el corazón de Europa, una ciudad llena de oportunidades, tendencias, una oferta cultural infinita y un lugar donde se respira moda. Y puesto que mi objetivo es conseguir trabajar en la industria de la moda ¿qué mejor lugar para intentarlo?    

Si claro que puedo fracasar... ¿pero acaso no es mejor equivocarse? Eso significa que lo has intentado, que has tenido el valor de hacer algo diferente, que has luchado por tus sueños…
 

Así que desearme suerte en esta nueva etapa de mi vida chic@s ¡¡porque la voy a necesitar!!

If you are a regular follower of my blog, I’m sure you’ve noticed that this month of January my posts have been quite irregular. To be honest it has been a very complicated month in many aspects and I needed time to think about my life’s course. 

Last week I lost my job and even if it was kind of expected, it’s always harsh when the time comes… Due to the difficult moments my country (Spain) is living now I do believe that there aren’t many real opportunities that could fit with what I’m looking for. That’s why I’ve decided to leave for London with my sissy.

To be honest I’m scared, very much… But if I think it objectively I do believe that staying here would be a worst decision. London is the beating heart of Europe, a city full of opportunities, trends, an endless cultural offer and a place that exudes fashion. And since my goal is to work in the fashion industry, is there a better place to try it??

Of course I can fail... but don’t you think that is a good thing to get wrong? Getting wrong means that you’ve tried it, that you’ve got the courage to do something different, that you’re fighting for your dreams…

So wish me luck in this new stage of my life… ‘cause I’m going to need it!!
