Miss Top Ten Image fashion crush: Marks & Spencer A/W 13

¡Hola chicas buenos chicas!

Hoy os quiero hablar de una firma con más de 129 años de historia: Marks & Spencer. La marca es todo un referente en Reino Unido por sus diseños de gran calidad y excelente precio.

Hasta hace unos años era difícil comprar sus productos ya que las tiendas físicas se encontraban sólo en Gran Bretaña. Pero hoy en día gracias a internet y a su web española (www.marksandspencer.eu.com) todo está  aun golpe de click.

La colección que han diseñado para esta nueva temporada es sencillamente impecable: sus abrigos de lana y prendas de cashmere no sólo tiene un diseño actual sino una excelente relación calidad-precio. La inspiración es una mujer extremadamente femenina que celebra sus formas con prendas entalladas, favorecedoras, sofisticadas y con un toque retro.

Estoy LOCAMENTE ENAMORADA de la colección y después de ver el lookbook ¡¡lo quiero todo!!

Today I want to talk you about a firm with more than 129 years of history: Marks & Spencer. The brand is a reference in the British market due to their high quality designs and excellent prices.

It’s has always been difficult to find their products in Spain ‘cause their physical shops have always been in Great Britain. But today thanks to the internet and their web (www.marksandspencer.com) everything is at our reach within just a click.

The new season collection is simply impeccable: their wool coats and cashmere clothes not only have an actual design but also an excellent quality-value relation. The inspiration is an extremely feminine woman who celebrates her forms with clothes that are fitted, flattering, sophisticated and have a retro touch.

I’m CRAZY IN LOVE with the collection and after seeing the complete lookbook I want everything!!

New fashion crush: Ulyana Sergeenko 2013 couture collection

¡Buenos días chic@s! Hoy quiero presentaros la colección de la que no sólo es uno de mis iconos de estilo sino también una de mis diseñadoras ("debutantes") favoritas. 

La colección P/V 13 de Ulyana Sergeenko es una oda a la feminidad, la fantasía, el misterio y la elegancia. Sus diseños están pensados para una "Escarlata O'Hara que entra de cabeza en el mundo del Mago de Oz" y tienen clarísimas reminiscencias de obras cumbres de la literatura como "Lo que el viento se llevó", "El mago de Oz" o "Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer".

Cortes perfectos, corsés, pendientes y botones de porcelana, bordados artesanales, capas abullonadas y sombreros al más puro estilo Escarlata O'Hara conforman esta colección exquisita que hace que Ulyana Sergeenko se esté ganando un puesto en la Alta Costura por derecho propio.

Good morning ladies!! Today I want to introduce you the collection of a lady who not only is one of my style icons but has also became one of my favorite ("debutante") fashion designers.

Ulyana's Sergeenko S/S 13 couture collection is an ode to feminity, fantasy, mistery and elegance. Her designs have been created  for a "Scarlet O'Hara falling headfirst into The Wizard of Oz" and have clear reminiscences of some literature classics such as "Gone with the Wind", "The Wizard of Oz" or "The adventures of Tom Sawyer".

Perfect cuts, corsets, porcelain buttons and earrings, handmade embroideries, ballon capes and hats that could be worn by the same Scarlett O'Hara form this exquisite collection which can make Ulyana Sergeenko to earn a spot in the Haute Couture in its own right.

New fashion crush: Bohemique S/S 13

Normalmente me gusta a hablar/llevar las marcas más conocidas del mundo de la moda, pero existen TAAAANTAAAAS otras que también vale la pena descubrir… Cómo la que os presento hoy por ejemplo…   

Descubrí esta marca gracias a Kizzy del precioso blog The Dainty Dolls House (¡gracias guapísima!) y fue amor a primera vista.

Bohemique es una firma rusa adoraba por lo que me gusta denominar “la armad rusa” (encabezada por Elena Perminova, Ulyana Sergeenko, Miroslava Duma y Natalia Vodianova). Los diseños de este misterioso dúo (no he sido capaz de encontrar información sobre ellos en la red) presentan una clara inspiración en el glamour del viejo Hollywood y desprenden un cierto estilo “fetichista” por sus cinturas ajustadas, encajes, caderas marcadas y mucho color negro.

Me ENCANTA la perfección de los cortes de sus vestidos y la sofisticación de sus detalles como por ejemplo los bordados con cristal, los velos transparentes y los sombreros altos de ala  ancha. Femeninos y con una clase exquisita, las creaciones de Bohemique hacen a muchas mujeres soñar con poseer uno de sus diseños (¡¡yo también quiero!!)

I usually tend to talk/like/wear the most known brands, but there are SOOOO many others worth to discover, like the one I'm introducing you today.

I discovered this fashion label thanks to Kizzy from the beautiful blog The Dainty Dolls House (thank you darling!) and I admit that I instantly fell head over heels with it.

Bohemique is a russian label praised by what I like to call the "Russian army" (with Elena Perminova, Ulyana Sergeenko, Miroslava Duma and Natalia Vodianova at the helm). The designs of this mysterious duo (I haven’t been able to find more information about them on the net) present a clear inspiration in the old Hollywood glamour era and exude a certain “fetish” style with its cinched waists, lace, enhanced hips and lots of black.  

I LOVE the perfect shapes of the dresses and the sophisticated details such as the crystal embroideries, the transparent veils and tall hats with wide brim. Feminine and extremely classy Bohemique creations make many women dream about wearing their designs (and so do I from now!!)
